Love my work, but want a portrait of someone special or a scene from your life? If you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind work of art for you or someone close to you, reach out, and we can discuss the possibilities. Below are some details and some questions to help get started.

The Process

Commissions can be painted in a wide size and price range, from small canvases for intimate spaces to large-scale works to fill a wall.

Commissioning an original painting is a personal process that starts with us talking about the subject matter, composition, size, price, etc. I love creating work that is going to bring joy and happiness to collectors.

A portrait or scene will require a high quality photo as reference, and I will discuss with you the specifics of the work. When we agree on a size and scope, a 50% deposit is collected to begin the work, with the balance payable upon completion and before delivery.

Typical turn-around time is 4-6 weeks. Other factors, such as size, commission list, framing (if requested), and delivery, can influence price or time of completion. All pricing discussed will be for the work itself on gessobord or canvas and does not include framing. Tax and shipping will be included in the final cost of the commissioned painting.
